Thoughts From Dad- February 21, 2021

hi McClain- I hope you have had a great Sabbath Day today. We have had a good Sabbath Day here and we look forward to talking to you on Monday. My thought today is around the testimonies of the 3 and 8 witnesses and how that relates to our lives. The 3 witnesses were a great relief to Joseph as finally someone else was able to see the plates and testify to others that they had seen. They always remained true to their testimonies of the Book of Mormon. I like how the missionary work is done in pairs as well. You are following a pattern that we see from the scriptures - In the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses will the truth be established. As a missionary you have the opportunity, and hopefully often times a blessing, to have a companion with you. I know sometimes they are better than others, but I know you will have a couple of special ones while you are a missionary. You are part of the marvelous work of the latter-days of spreading the Gospel. I know you might have expected it to look and feel different how you would be able to do this, but I am so proud of you that you are finding people to teach and opportunities to serve. Keep putting your faith in the Lord and he will bless you. I love you. Love Dad
