Hey everyone hows it going? Not a ton to report on this week, as things have slowed down pretty substantially around here, so we have some serious work to do to start being more effective with our members, but we were able to invite our friend Jose to be baptized on April 3rd, which we are super excited about! He is an older man from El Salvador, and hilarious to talk to, he always just makes fun of himself for how much he forgets, and crazy enough he runs for like 2 hours in the mornings, and he is 80! He is a beast. This week I have been loving 1 Nephi, such an awesome story about how when we put our trust in God, he will empower us and give us the strength we need. I am learning this to be true in my own life right now, that I need help to be a good missionary. Heavenly father is anxious to bless us if we just reach out to him, through prayer and reading the scriptures, or through simply following the example of the savior and showing love to others! We also cranked thru like 4 pounds of peanut butter this week as a quad. I wish that was a joke. We love peanut butter around here. Nacho libre quotes and songs are also at an all time high.
